How to Load Focus HMI Project onto Raspberry Pi

When you install the Focus HMI program on Raspberry Pi, the Default Project is loaded by default. To load your own project, you need to connect to your Raspberry Pi from the Focus HMI program on your computer.

Open Focus HMI Program on Your Computer

Open the Focus HMI program on your computer and prepare your project. This allows you to make necessary adjustments before transferring the project to Raspberry Pi.

Connect to Raspberry Pi

  1. Click on “Connection” in the HMI tab.
  2. In the opened HMI Dialog window, enter the required IP address, port no, user name and password for the connection.
  3. Click on the “Connection Test” button to establish the connection. Once the connection is successful, the previously inactive buttons will become active.

Load the Project

  1. To load your prepared project, click the Upload to HMI button in the HMI tab.
  2. Confirm the messages that appear to start the upload process.
  1. Once the upload is complete, your project will be automatically started on your device.

Manage Runtime

  • To stop and restart the runtime, use the buttons in the HMI dialog window. This allows you to stop and restart the project as needed.
